As DEFT continues to grow, we want every DSP owner to know: You are not alone. The pressure you are feeling is real, and together, we can do something about it.

There is strength in numbers, but that strength depends on membership. Every owner who joins makes our collective voice stronger and harder to overlook.

To make membership more accessible, current members and DSP owners considering joining may now pay annual membership dues either in full or through monthly installments. The monthly option provides greater flexibility while continuing to support DEFT’s year-round advocacy efforts.

Membership begins with a confidential application and is limited to verified, active DSP owners.

What We Have Accomplished

In less than one year, here is what we have built together:

• Established a self-funded organization led by experienced DSP professionals who understand these challenges from the inside.
• Secured legal counsel to create a strong foundation for advocacy and help protect member interests.
• Partnered with the AAFD to provide anonymous membership processing, allowing DSP owners to participate with greater confidence and peace of mind.
• Launched a secure member website and forum with streamlined onboarding, peer support, open discussion, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration.
• Built a direct email network to keep members informed about important DSP program developments as they happen.
• Engaged a professional content writer to produce articles, email newsletters, and educational resources that increase awareness of the issues affecting DSP owners.
• Conducted and publicly published independent surveys documenting the real experiences of DSP owners, including:
  • The DEFT DSP Experience Survey
  • The 2026 DEFT Post-Peak Survey
  • The 2026 DEFT Mid-Year Prime Week Survey
• Grew DEFT membership by 20% as more owners recognized the strength and value of standing together.
• Hosted a public live session with legal counsel to provide direct access to expert guidance and encourage open collaboration.
• Upgraded the member website and forum to create a stronger and more connected peer-support experience.
• Launched the Win/Win Proposal Tool, giving members a collaborative way to develop practical ideas for improving the DSP program.
• Launched DEFT’s official X account, @DEFT_US, and Facebook page to keep the broader DSP community informed, connected, and engaged.

Membership remains the most effective way for eligible DSP owners to strengthen DEFT’s collective voice. However, those who are not ready or eligible to join may still support our mission by making a donation.
