A few important ground rules to help us succeed together:
- Maintain Anonymity
Amazon has a history of retaliation toward those who speak out so protecting each other is essential. To ensure anonymity, all personal information collected as part of the DEFT membership application has been deleted. Furthermore, all DEFT members are assigned a DEFT email address with a pseudonyms. All emails from DEFT will be sent to your DEFT email account. We recommend NOT accessing the DEFT site or email from the station WiFi.
When communicating with others on the community forum, use only your pseudonym and avoid sharing details that might reveal your identity (e.g., station code, tenure). Likewise, do not ask for or share the identity of others.
- Be Respectful
Different viewpoints are expected and welcomed. Diversity of thought makes us stronger, so long as it’s paired with professionalism and respect. Ask questions before assuming intent, and keep discussions constructive. - Lean In
DEFT was founded on the belief that targeted program changes can greatly improve outcomes for both DSPs and Amazon. To develop smart, win–win solutions we need your best ideas. Use this space for solution-oriented discussion and let Signal and Facebook be the places to vent.
